Hi! I'm Niki Bowen - Certified Hypnobirthing Educator

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I am a highly qualified birthing professional who is dedicated to the principles and philosophy of Hypnobirthing and mother-directed birthing.

I came to hypnobirthing from my own desire for a natural connected birth experience. Everything I had seen growing up showed birth as a scary, intimidating and definitely painful experience. My exploration of spiritual practice enabled me to imagine a different experience as I met doulas and birth supporters sharing a different possibility. My training as a Breathwork and Rebirth Practitioner was the gateway to changing my mind about the possibility for birth. When it came time for my turn, after eight IVF procedures a natural birth led by my body and my belief was the natural choice. This. despite my fertility doctor stating that had he been my obstetrician HE would have insisted on a thirty-nine week, planned caesarean section. HIS choice on MY birth.

A first time mum at 45 I had many negative beliefs pushed my way about my age, my ability to birth, my additional risks. Because I had an incredible team of people supporting my choices my babies were both born naturally and consciously. Blissful birth is the right and possibility for every mother regardless of age of history.

Programs

Classes are available online through Zoom: either privately or in groups. In-Person sessions available for Noosa/Sunshine Coast locals.

Basic Hypnobirthing

Includes: Parent’s Hypnobirthing Handbook, Hypnobirthing Text, Hypnobirthing Hypnosis Tracks & Email support in the lead up to and six weeks post-birth.

Parenting Prep

Includes: Finding you ‘2 in the Family’, Transition through Trimesters, ‘4th Trimester’, Breastfeeding, Equipment, Parenting Agreements, Finances, Becoming Mum/Dad, Coming Home, Week 1 & Month1.

2 x 2hr Sessions (via Zoom or In-Person)

Post Birth Support

Includes: Counselling, 4th Trimester, Breastfeeding & Relationships
